Reliable Software Solutions Since 1985
Minotaur Software is a privately owned Canadian company launched in 1985. We are a niche software developer, not a reseller of other companies software and we do all of our software development in Canada. Minotaur is a proud family business, still run by original founder Richard Kirkness alongside a dedicated team of 12 including his wife Judith who leads the sales efforts. Richard and Judith were thrilled when their son Walter joined the business in 2016 after finishing his Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo. Our goal is to offer a practical yet comprehensive software tool, combined with intelligent service to help you get control of and manage your business information.
We’ve learned a lot over the years and believe our personal service and delivering what we promise has been the key to our growth and success. Minotaur is focused on serving growing small and mid-sized manufacturers or repackagers that require traceability. We take the important role our system plays in your business very seriously and look forward to serving you and your business with integrity for many years to come.
Most of our customers are privately owned companies like us. They are looking for a close relationship with the people who write the software and like the fact that we implement and service our own programs. As such, our customers are what shapes the development of the system. We add to the program based on understanding the industries we serve and finding out what our customers want in the program to manage those needs. If you want to deal with a company where the staff is a stable group of experienced professionals who understand their own program and listen to your needs, talk to us.
